With fall now well underway, TODAY's Jill Martin highlights the latest handbag trends and how you can pair them with the rest of your wardrobe.

Quilted
With very lady-like and traditional stitching, this bag is now turning up in all shapes and sizes. It's elegant, yet casual enough to be your everyday bag.

Satchel
The satchel is the traditional bag with a handle. It's more structured and sturdy — great for the gal who has a lot of stuff to bring in her bag. It also works well at the office.

Color block
This is similar to what we saw in the summer with color block, but it's now extended into fall with colors like black, grays, tans and whites. It's a great way to add a pop of color to your look.

Portfolio clutches
This is the shape for the season. It's bigger than a traditional clutch which makes it a great carryall, and it transitions perfectly from the office to dinner or a date.

Cobalt blue
Cobalt is such a fun color this season. It's a great color that blends well with most anything. It will brighten up your look during the cooler fall days and nights.
