Beyonce's pregnancy is only getting bigger.
After announcing she's expecting with husband Jay-Z at the August 28 VMAs, the star's baby campaign is in full force. Beyonce has now announced plans for a maternity line under her House of Deréon fashion label.
"All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman," Beyonce, 30, told Harper's Bazaar. "It's been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowery fabrics are always flattering — but I still rock my stilettos."
Beyonce has been photographed in recent weeks showing off her glamorous pregnancy wardrobe, including a sequin blazer on top of a sequin mini-dress.
So it's no surprise she's going into the baby-bump business, as everything the celebrity does has her "empire" in mind. Beyonce recently said her wait to have children had much to do with her career ambition. "It was important to me that I give myself time to focus on becoming the woman I want to be, building my empire, my self-worth, before I became a mother," she told Harper's Bazaar. "Now God has blessed us with the ultimate."
The star is due in February 2012. We can't wait for the next step: Beyonce's baby clothing collection.
