One day you will be my child

She may not know it yet, but three-month-old June Maloberti has a lot to look forward to. Her father, French photographer Eric "Malo" Maloberti, imagines what she might grow up to be in his photo series "One day you will be my child."

He’s long been fascinated by the notion that parents can’t predict what their kids will become in life, so when his third child was born, he devoted a whole project to the subject.

Sporting a mask and a cape, June might become a wrestler.

Malo, his wife and some of their friends created the outfits, he said, adding that June behaved “very well” during the photo shoots, which he tried to keep short to avoid tiring her out.

June's religion might become her profession. “I thought about how parents used to decide their children’s futures for them… Today, your profession is still important, but it’s only one thing among many," he said.

Travelling all over the world, as a flight attendant, could be June's profession. Just one of the endless possibilities for her career choice.

Wearing a yellow overalls and a black cap, June get the high seas to become a fisher(wo)man.

Milo's creativity shows his daughter wearing a apron as butcher, as yet another possibility for her future.

“One day my son told me that he wanted to be an explorer when he grew up. My daughter, on the other hand, was set on becoming an artist. It made me wonder what they would really become,” he told TODAY Moms in an email.

June could always become a Cardinal.
