The Situation: 'I'm a very deep person'

If that flies in the face of everything fans have seen from Sorrentino, well, that’s because they’ve only seen part of him. “I’m not perfect. I don’t claim to be perfect,” the ab-man explained. “What you see on (‘Jersey Shore’) it’s sort of driven in a certain way … Whatever you see is what happens, I’m just trying to say there’s so many other things happening throughout the number of months that we’re there.” Presumably “deep” things. As for Sorrentino’s way with women, particularly his efforts to avoid “grenades” (less than appealing ladies), he doesn’t deny his reputation. Instead he credits most of it to his humor and his penchant for on-the-fly catchphrases. Still, when faced with the prospect of his future daughter bringing her own Situation home, Sorrentino wasn't so sure at first. “Ah, well, you know what? I’m going to have to do a little bit of background checking,” the reality star admitted. “But like I said, you give everybody the benefit of the doubt. And you can’t judge a book by its cover.” Related content:
