Tears flowed in "The Biggest Loser" gym when Olympic weightlifter Holley Mangold was sent packing after dropping just three pounds on the last episode. But looking back at her bad week, Mangold thinks she now knows what went wrong.

"I think I realized that my body might be allergic to running," she confessed during a Tuesday morning visit to the TODAY plaza.

The days leading up to her ouster were particularly active ones on the treadmill for Mangold, and she's found a solution to her so-called allergy.

"I stopped (running)," she said.

But she didn't stop working toward her weight-loss goal.

"You never know what's going to happen on the scale," she said. "But as long as you put in the work, you'll see the results at some point."

And she has. When Mangold joined "The Biggest Loser," she weighed in at 351 pounds. Now she's down to 260.

See how her former fellow contestants are doing when "The Biggest Loser" airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
