It's almost here! While some fans in Manhattan got a first look at "Fifty Shades of Grey" Friday morning, the rest of us will get finally get a chance to watch the hotly anticipated dark romance in seven days.

But why wait until then to see what Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Ana (Dakota Johnson) get up to in the film? Following a week chock-full of must-see exclusives (which you can find here, here, here and, of course, here), TODAY has saved the best for last. Not only do we have one more exclusive sneak peek to tide you over, but stars Dornan and Johnson stopped by Studio 1A to offer a glimpse into the making of the movie.

But first, about that clip — this time the characters really get cookin'!

Well, at least Ana is, as Christian finds her heating things up in the kitchen with pancakes.

"You're energetic this morning," he says as he watches her bounce to the beat of The Rolling Stones' "Beast of Burden."

"You hungry?" she shoots back.

C'mon, Ana! This is Christian Grey — if we know anything about him, it's that he's always hungry. "Very," as he puts it in the clip.

As for the film's racier moments — the ones we can't give you a preview of — Dornan and Johnson explained that those scenes required just as much real-life trust as the fictional bond between Christian and Ana demanded, especially given how vulnerable the film's leading lady had to be.

"She was literally in those scenarios for real," Dornan said, explaining how he would rush to cover his co-star between takes. "She's tied up; she's exposed; she's naked. Of course, when we call cut, someone has to step in. I'm not just going to leave her lying there, exposed."

"I trust him so much, and it was like we were only there to help and protect each other," Johnson added.

And they hope to do so again for future films. When asked if they would return to the big screen if filmmakers were to tackle the EL James' "Fifty Shades" sequels, the stars were in agreement.

"I mean, that's definitely the idea," Dornan insisted.

And it's definitely good news for fans, especially those who were left cheering after the special screening in New York, which TODAY's own Carson Daly and Natalie Morales attended.

And just how many fans turned out for that? Well ...

Someone was counting!

After the screening, Daly shared his thoughts on the "Fifty Shades" experience.
