Conan O’Brien is in the midst of a feud with Next Media Animation, better known as the group of Taiwanese animators responsible for a variety of “Sims”-like sends ups ripped straight from the headlines, but the late-night host just can’t keep up in the battle of rapid-fire video put downs.
It all began when O’Brien aired his own version of an NMA-style video on his TBS talk show, depicting himself at war with sidekick Andy Richter over a container of yogurt. NMA shot back with their own video, claiming they planned to sue O’Brien and would be willing to accept Richter as payment.
On Monday night’s “Conan,” the host wanted to return the video volley, but admitted he lacked the animation department necessary to keep the feud alive.
