Kathie Lee and Hoda are always up for trying something new, and on Friday that meant milking a goat.

Jeremy Brandt, host of "Jobs That Bite" on Nat Geo Wild, stopped by with a friendly goat and showed them the ABC's of how it's done.

After the ladies watched a demonstration, they were ready to dive in and try it for themselves.

"That's quite a teat!" KLG exclaimed, as they got up close and personal with the goat. "I just feel like I'm violating her dignity."

Video: TODAY’s Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb chat with Jeremy Brandt, host of “Jobs that Bite” on Nat Geo Wild, about working some of the toughest jobs with animals, such as milking a camel and performing a dental exam on a lion.

"In the tradition of the show, you guys aren't going to use a bucket," said Jeremy, handing them wine glasses instead to catch the goat's milk.

"I feel bad," said Hoda, as she started to milk.

"Get as far up as you can with your index finger," Jeremy instructed.

"That sounds awful!" said KLG.

Finally, they were able to get some in the glass. "I got some, I got some," said Hoda, who then accidentally squeezed it on the floor.

"You can just hang out and watch me do it," said Jeremy.
