Everyone's talking about how much that frog species just discovered in Costa Rica looks like Kermit, but no one thought to ask the Frog himself. Oh My Disney scored an interview with the famous Muppet in which he dishes on his extended family and gives advice to the newcomer.

"Shorten your name if you want to make it in show business," Kermit suggested - and Hyalinobatrachium dianae is a bit of a mouthful. "Maybe something catchy like Diane Glass or Kermina Kardashian."

The telltale eyes are indeed "a family resemblance," Kermit revealed. "Googly eyes run in our family." Kermit did show a little envy of his cousin's translucent skin: "It's almost like you're invisible... which might come in handy around Miss Piggy."

You can learn more about the new species, known as Diane's Bare-hearted glass frog, over at National Geographic.
