It’s another heartbreaking story in what seems to be becoming an alarming trend. After being bullied by his classmates about everything from his appearance to his sexuality, 13-year-old Asher Truong stepped into his bedroom closet with his stepfather's gun and took his own life. Parents Amy and David Truong maintain that they reached out to Asher’s teachers, principals, coaches and school administrators before things escalated, but were routinely told that they’d “take care of it.” Now the Truongs are seeking legal action against the school and are hoping to call attention to the persistent problem of school bullying.
