Al Roker reached back nearly two dozen years for a “Throwback Thursday” photo showing a different version of him just before an old "Tonight Show" appearance.
The photo shows a much-heavier Roker standing next to former "Tonight" host, Jay Leno.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Jaaayyy Leno!!! And @alroker circa 1992 just before The Tonight Show,” Al writes in the caption for the picture he posted on Instagram.
Al has spoken openly about his lifelong struggle with weight loss. He had stomach bypass surgery in 2002 and has since lost weight with the help of a healthier diet and lifestyle.
