America's favorite fake anchorman is back, and starting tomorrow, the Channel 4 news team gets its own museum exhibit.
The Washington, D.C. Newseum, devoted to very serious journalism, made the wise choice to honor Will Ferrell's hit comedy, which gets a sequel ("Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues") next month, in an exhibit that opens Thursday.
Willie Geist checked out the scene at the "Anchorman" exhibit on TODAY Wednesday: Visitors can find lead character Ron Burgundy's polyester suits, his jazz flute and even the whip wielded by rival newsman Arturo Mendes (Ben Stiller) during a spectacular multi-channel fight scene.
And, of course, fans of the film can try their hand at being Ron Burgundy. How did Willie do? Watch the video to find out.
'Anchorman: The Exhibit' opens Nov. 14 and runs through next summer at the Newseum.
