Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon to join Matt Lauer for exclusive joint interview

In their first joint interview, Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon will sit down with Matt Lauer for an exclusive airing Monday, Jan. 27 on TODAY. 

In the sincere and engaging interview, Leno and Fallon open up to Lauer about the legacy of “The Tonight Show” and how they have handled the passing of the mic. They also discuss the fraternity of late-night comedians and what they do to keep tabs on one another.

Fallon will begin hosting “The Tonight Show” on Monday, Feb. 17.

The interview will be available on TODAY.com after it airs.
