The scale didn't tip in Tumi Oguntala's favor on the last episode of "The Biggest Loser," but since leaving the ranch behind, she hasn't had any problem shedding pounds. In fact, since joining the competition at 319 pounds, she's dropped a total of 166 — or as she calls it, the equivalent of person.

"And not a skinny person!" she pointed out during a Tuesday morning appearance on TODAY.

Now, at 153 pounds, Tumi's ready to take on parts of her life that she's long put off due to her weight.

"I waited to have children because I didn't want to die early," she explained, adding that it's the same reason she postponed her wedding. "If you're going to give your life to someone, you want the best life you can give. This was my opportunity, and I took it."

Even though she's out of the game, Tumi still has a shot at winning the $100,000 at-home prize, reserved for the biggest off-ranch loser at the end of the season. But as far as she's concerned, she doesn't need that to be a winner.

"I already won the at-home prize in my mind," she said with a smile. "But anything else is gravy."

As for the players Tumi left behind on the ranch, they're still vying for the $250,000 grand prize. And according to trainer Jillian Michaels, who also stopped by TODAY Tuesday, they'll get some help.

"We have some Olympic greats — Lolo Jones, Apolo Ohno — who are going to be training the contestants," she revealed. "It's really exciting. It's a great way to celebrate the Olympics starting, and it's a great way to motivate everybody at home, and of course, our contestants."

Get motivated when "The Biggest Loser" airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
