If you've ever wondered what Bridget Jones would do if she were in your shoes, now is your chance to find out.

Bridget Jones author Helen Fielding took over the TODAY Books Twitter account Wednesday, answering your relationship questions as her beloved character Bridget Jones might.

Her iconic character makes her return in her newest book, "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy" and faces a whole new set of life challenges, including the much talked about death of husband Mark Darcy.

"It’s very touching that after so many years people are so attached to these characters," Fielding told Natalie Morales about the response to Darcy's death. "The story doesn’t end there, it starts five years after Mark died, and Bridget, like, let’s face it, so many women and people, now finds herself single, dating, but also dealing with children and technology.”

Bridget faces her own set of relationship questions and circumstances in her new book, but if you want to know "What would Bridget do?" in your situation, send us your questions on Twitter using hashtag #WWBD and follow @TODAYBooks for Fielding's responses.

Fielding answered a couple of the tweets on air, as one viewer asked how she can go about meeting a "cool gentleman."

“I would probably say don’t meet people in the club," Fielding responded. "I remember one of my first dating experiences in a club when someone asked me to dance and I got up excitedly and went to cross the room and they went ‘no, not you, her.’”
