Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated parmesan
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 dash pepper
  • 2 cup canned pinto beans

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Peel and chop the garlic into coarse pieces.

Combine mayonnaise, garlic, Parmesan, and seasonings in blender.

Blend on low for 15 seconds, or until well mixed.

Slowly add the beans, blending on medium for 1 minute, or until smooth.

Stop to scrape down sides as necessary.

Put in covered bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Serving Directions:

The perfect serve: This thick dip calls for a heavy-duty scooping device.

Use sturdy tortilla chips or cut French bread into thick slices, toast them, and spread the dip onto the slices.

Tips:

Good guy advice: When you add a dash or a pinch of seasoning to a recipe, put the spice into your hand first, then drop it into the blender.

If you try to do it direct from the spice jar, it's likely to pour too much.
