Simpson’s much-anticipated parole hearing only hours away, Chris Darden, one of the prosecutors in Simpson’s 1995 murder trial, tells TODAY that he thinks Simpson “unfortunately” will be freed. He expresses dismay that Simpson could be paroled after serving only nine years of a 33-year sentence: “The fact that he’s a model prisoner doesn’t mean that he doesn’t pose a risk to society.”
