Researchers say “emotional contagion” – picking up someone’s mood – can happen in fractions of a second, and that it’s easier to pick up someone’s bad mood than their cold or flu. TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie jokes that the scientific term is “Monday morning with Matt Lauer.”
