Undetonated devices a treasure trove for investigators, says former FBI director
NBC’s chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel and former FBI executive assistant director Shawn Henry discuss the latest developments in the investigation of the weekend bombings in New York City and New Jersey. Fingerprints and DNA left on the undetonated devices are a “treasure trove” for investigators, says Henry: “The fact that they were able to identify [Ahmad Khan] Rahami so quickly, that fingerprint was a key piece of forensic evidence.” He adds that investigators will likely be looking for multiple subjects.
