Cold snap shatters hundreds of records across US
An unusually early arctic blast has shattered hundreds of mid-November records, all across the country, including some that date back more than 100 years. Problems from the dangerous deep freeze are mounting. NBC's Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY from Battery Park, New York City, and Al Roker forecasts when the cold will end.
