At the Human Library, you check out volunteers, instead of books, and the people are from diverse backgrounds and open to answering any question during their 30-minute time slot. Some questions that are asked include what expectations and stereotypes come with different identities and how to overcome them. NBC’s Matt Bradley has the full story of how the library works.
