Former FBI director James Comey: ‘I was sickened’ by Capitol attack
James Comey, former director of the FBI and author of the new book “Saving Justice,” tells TODAY “I was sickened by the attack” on the Capitol last week, and says “it’s important that every last person who entered that Capitol be found and charged.” He says he thinks it’s important that President Trump be impeached, but rather than prosecute him, he think it would be better if we “turn off the television lights on him, which in some ways would be the greatest punishment he could imagine.”
