Dr. Seymour Schwartz has died at age 92 in St. Louis. He’s remembered by many in the medical field for his work as an innovative and groundbreaking surgeon, as well as founding editor of “Principles of Surgery.” After taking wife Ruth’s advice to find a hobby, he also became a historian and cartographer. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well-lived.
