Mississippi governor signs bill to remove Confederate emblem from state flag
The governor of Mississippi signed a bill Tuesday removing a Confederate battle emblem from the state's 126-year-old flag. Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican called the signing “a solemn occasion” and a chance for people to put their divisions behind them.
