Canada bans assault-style weapons after country’s deadliest mass shooting in history
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a nationwide ban on assault-style weapons in Canada on Friday. This comes less than two weeks after the country’s deadliest mass shooting in its history left 23 dead in Nova Scotia. The ban includes more than 1,500 models of assault-style firearms.
