Trapped soccer team in Thailand writing letters to their families
After two weeks underground, the 12 youth soccer players trapped in a Thailand cave are now writing letters to their families. The notes are filled with love and assurance, and even mention of the fried chicken they can’t wait to eat once they’re home. The families are receiving these messages as rescuers continue racing against the clock, as weather and oxygen levels threaten the mission to retrieve them. NBC News chief global correspondent Bill Neely reports for TODAY from Chiang Rai, Thailand.
