Anderson Cooper has a brand-new pal — a rather furry one.
Cooper posted a picture of his adorable new pup, Lilly, to Instagram on Tuesday.
"My dog Molly passed away a few months ago. This weekend Lilly showed up! She's a Welsh Springer Spaniel. #TheRainbowComesAndGoes" he captioned the cute photo.
The CNN host's beloved dog Molly, also a Welsh springer spaniel, died in September of last year.

And shortly after her passing, Cooper shared an old image of the pooch with his Instagram followers.
In a behind-the-scenes "60 Minutes" video in 2014, Cooper revealed that he was a "total dog person."
"The most interesting thing that [dog researcher] Brian Hare said to me that really stuck with me was, 'When dogs are looking at you, they're hugging you with their eyes," he said.
And although Molly's no longer there to offer "hugs," Cooper's new spaniel seems to have a sweet set of eyes capable of doing the trick.
