Alyssa Milano shared a sweet selfie on Instagram yesterday that shows the actress cuddling with daughter Elizabella, nearly 2, while breastfeeding.

Using the hashtags #WBW2016 and #WBWGoals, the long-time advocate for public breastfeeding indicated her post was a part of World Breastfeeding Week, an event designed to bring awareness to the importance and benefits of breastfeeding.

Milano, who also has a 4-year-old son, Milo, is no stranger to posting breastfeeding selfies on social media.

In a 2015 interview with TODAY, Milano explained that she was proud to be a part of bringing awareness to the normalcy of public breastfeeding.

"It's funny because I didn't really set out, posting these pictures, as taking a stand for breastfeeding," Milano told TODAY. "I was just kind of sharing a moment, and then I realized through the responses that it was a moment that kind of needed to happen to start a dialogue because people are still very anti-breastfeeding in public."

"Someone once told me to go breastfeed my baby in the bathroom and I just thought, 'Do you eat in the bathroom?'" Milano continued. "Hopefully, I can make things easier for moms in the future whether they're breastfeeding or bottle feeding."
