Gwyneth Paltrow’s toddler daughter is a rap fan.
The actress — who has been widely quoted saying “I’d rather die than let my daughter eat instant soup” — apparently has no problem letting 16-month old Apple listen to Jay-Z, a rap star whose albums are usually labeled “Explicit Lyrics.”
Paltrow, while out promoting her new flick “Proof,” was asked if her daughter is a fan of Coldplay, the band headed up by her husband Chris Martin.
Apparently, not. But Paltrow revealed that instead, Apple likes Jay-Z, and often listens to the rapper on headphones.
She also confided that no one on the set of "Proof" knew that she was pregnant until her last day of filming because she didn’t want anyone worrying about her. “It was very, very difficult,” she said. “I was trying not to barf. I felt terrible.”
Caustic CojocaruSteven Cojocaru raised eyebrows at the Toronto Film Festival fundraiser when he referred to Tom Cruise’s sweetie with an expletive.
The fashion correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider" was the host of Variety magazine’s Ten Producers to Watch party at Flow Restaurant on Sunday night. Clips from the featured films were being shown and when Katie Holmes’s image appeared — she stars in the flick “Thank You For Not Smoking” — the oft-caustic Cojocaru muttered, “That Scientology [bleep].” (Rhymes with “rich.”)
Cojocaru later backpedaled. “I was only joking,” he said, according to the Toronto Globe and Mail. “I don’t know anything about them.”
When asked if he worries about Scientology’s influence on Hollywood, Cojocaru reportedly rolled his eyes and replied, “Honey, I worry about a lot of things. I worry that there’s going to be a dead Maltese cat in my bed when I get back to my room.”
