If it's not one Lohan, it's another--and sometimes it's both at the same time.
Just as Lindsay Lohan was flying home to Los Angeles to deliver a decision on a plea deal that could put an end to Necklacegate, her father was arrested in West Hollywood on three felony charges related to a domestic violence accusation, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirms to E! News.
But is it like father, like daughter? Lindsay is currently weighing whether to accept the plea deal she was offered by the D.A., which would have her avoid a jury trial but unavoidably see jail time for her alleged crimes.

According to Sgt. John Ratto, the elder Lohan was arrested while strolling near the West Hollywood Sheriff's station last night and booked on three felony charges after allegedly holding his girlfriend, Kate Major, against her will, preventing her from calling calling 911 and, in the process, causing her minor injuries. It's unclear what injuries, exactly, she sustained, but Major declined medical treatment.
As a result, Michael was charged with inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization.
Of course, the Lohans certainly have a flair for the dramatic and, true to his heritage, that was only the start of Michael's night.
While being held at the police station, Lohan complained of an unspecified medical condition and was taken to the nearby Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he remains. A Sheriff's spokesman tells E! News that Lohan will remain in the hospital for another 24 hours, then will be booked at the station tomorrow. His bail was set at $200,000.
Major, meanwhile, doesn't seem overly concerned for his well-being.
"I don't know or care where Michael is," she tells us. "Yes, I'm pressing charges, he tried to kill me."
Ahh, love.
