Portia de Rossi says she is not having in vitro fertilization in an attempt to get pregnant.

“There’s a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth,” de Rossi told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on the set of “Better Off Ted,” her new ABC comedy, which premieres March 18.

“The IVF story?” Saltman asked.

“Yes,” de Rossi confirmed. “That was just completely made up.”

The actress said the IVF pregnancy rumors aren’t new. In fact, she’s used to the tales related to impending motherhood cropping up on a regular basis.

“The baby thing comes around annually,” she told Saltman. “I find … once a year, you know, whether I deny it or not … It doesn’t make any difference.”

One rumor de Rossi didn’t deny during Saltman’s “Better Off Ted” set visit, was the one that the Aussie beauty was going to make an appearance on her wife’s daytime talk show.

“I am,” de Rossi said when Saltman asked her about her “Ellen” appearance, set to occur in just a few weeks — her first time ever appearing on the show.

And though the two women have been coupled-up for some time, de Rossi admitted she is experiencing a little anxiety over her moment in DeGeneres’ interview hot seat.

“Well, I don’t know what she’s gonna ask me! I mean, really on the spot. You know?” de Rossi laughed. “No, it’ll be really fun!”

While de Rossi has an advantage over other guests with DeGeneres, she said she hasn’t asked for any favors when it’s time for the sit down interview.

“I just think whatever happens is gonna happen and it’ll be fun,” the actress smiled. “I think she’ll go pretty easy on me.”
