About the chef: Michael Schulson began honing in on his culinary skills at a young age, watching his mother and grandmother in the kitchen. After working in top kitchens, Schulson recently became the executive chef of Buddakan in New York City and in June 2008 opened Izakaya, a modern Japanese pub.
