Alec Baldwin's attorneys filed paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court Friday morning asking the court to hold a hearing to uncover the source of a leaked voice mail message the actor left his daughter Ireland.

Thursday, TMZ.com posted a two minute clip where Baldwin was heard berating his daughter for not accepting a scheduled telephone call. In the tape, in addition to being distressed at his daughter for not answering, during the intense message Baldwin calls his daughter a "rude, thoughtless little pig."

In a declaration made by Baldwin's attorney Vicki J. Greene, she claims Kim Basinger or her "employees agents or attorneys" are the only possible sources of the leaked tape. As a result of these claims, the filing asks the court to determine whether there are grounds to hold Basinger in contempt of court.

In the legal paperwork obtained by Access Hollywood, Greene claims she spoke to TMZ.com head Harvey Levin on Thursday. She further alleges he refused to disclose the source of the tape and he revealed information he believed came from a family court hearing that took place Wednesday. Greene's declaration claims she also warned Levin that publishing the tapes could result in legal action from Baldwin.

In the filing, Greene accuses the source of leaking the information "to the press intentionally."

Additionally, Baldwin's filing asks for the court to order Kim Basinger, her attorney Neal Hersh, his associate Judy Bogen and TMZ head Harvey Levin to the hearing to testify regarding the leaked tape.

Levin and TMZ had no comment.

Thursday, following the leaked tape, Baldwin's rep provided a statement to Access Hollywood.

"In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing ... keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

Friday morning, a spokesperson for Kim Basinger told Access Hollywood, "The voice mail speaks for itself," but had no other comment.
