Mark those mementos! Create a cork wall with this 4-step DIY

Put that wall to work with this IKEA hack!

All week long, TODAY.com is sharing IKEA hacks that only require four steps to create. Developed by DIY'er Jourdan Fairchild, this easy DIY is both decorative and practical. Finally a place to put those photos, notes and lists!

Materials needed:

• IKEA's HEAT Trivets and 365+ Coasters
• Spray paint
• Drop cloth
• Hanging tape
• Pushpins

Instructions:

1. Working on a drop cloth in a well-ventilated area, cover a mix of trivets and coasters (rim face-down) with two coats of spray paint. Let dry 15 minutes between coats.

2. Once dry, press hanging tape to the back of the trivets (cut some of the tape thin so it will fit on the coasters’ rims).

3. Arrange coasters and trivets on the wall, pressing in place when you’re satisfied.

4. Use pushpins to display artwork, notes and photos.
