President Barack Obama left Jamaica Thursday after speaking with a gathering of Caribbean leaders, and he delivered one heck of a farewell before boarding Air Force One.

Obama turned to wave goodbye to those gathered around the tarmac, but rather than offering a simple gesture, the commander-in-chief appeared to shoot a bright and shining rainbow right across the sky.

Not a bad trick, if you can pull it off. Of course, we suspect Mother Nature did most of the work.

Actually, as another shot shared on Instagram by official White House photographer Pete Souza revealed, weather conditions were ripe for the rainbow before the president even approached the steps to the aircraft.

President Obama stood arm-in-arm with Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller as they took a moment to appreciate the colorful Kingston sky before his departure.

What a sight!
