At Christmastime, we're all singers of a sort, thanks to the omnipresence of holiday carols. But few voices can do better justice to the tunes of the season than Pentatonix, the quintet of a capella singers who warm our hearts with their spot-on harmonies.

And lucky us: They visited TODAY Tuesday to break out all the Christmas cheer they could muster, with inspiring, heartwarming performances of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" and "Up On the House Top."

It was like having the greatest set of Christmas carolers ever!

We first fell for Pentatonix during the third season of NBC's "The Sing-Off," when the group (Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan and Kevin "K.O." Olusola) won the competition in 2011 and landed a record contract and $200,000.

They took that win and ran with it and have since sold more than 5 million albums in the U.S. alone, earned two Grammy Awards and play sold-out shows around the world. On Oct. 21 they released their third holiday album, "A Pentatonix Christmas," and it debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart. They've just wrapped a world tour of over 80 stops, and they've even recorded a new Thursday Night Football theme for NBC!
