Turns out even celebrities get stomach aches at seriously inopportune times. Whaddya know?
But leave it to Amy Schumer to turn an awful bout with a stomach bug into an opportunity to make us all laugh.
She posted a "sick selfie" from her Paris hotel bed after she and her beau got food poisoning during their trip.
"Thanks for everything Paris!" she captioned the shot. "Except the food poisoning."

Of course, that wasn't quite enough for Schumer or her followers. She followed the first post up with a video (after the "puke fest," mind you) and two posts of her in what appears to be a hospital bed.
"Trying to eat chicken broth post puke fest." she wrote beneath her second post, which shows a harrowed-looking Schumer dipping a ladle into a silver-laden, oh-so-Parisian soup bowl. The Eiffel Tower's silhouette looms just outside the window next to the table.
Not bad for a sick-day view.

And while food poisoning may not be your usual fodder for comedic genius, Schumer isn't your usual comedian.
Though we're sure she and 29-year-old Ben Hanisch had a pretty miserable time battling their respective illnesses, it looks like they're totally fine now ... which means we're safe to freely laugh at Schumer's posts.
