Statue of Liberty, Grand Canyon reopen during shutdown
New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Sunday that his administration and the federal government reached a deal which will allow the Statue of Liberty to remain open to visitors during the federal government shutdown. Similar deals have been made with both the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore.
