Woman who survived multiple brushes with death shares her story
Dina Pestonji has survived multiple brushes with death, including severe anorexia as a teenager, a nearly fatal car crash and then two strokes in her 20s. Pestonji recounts her story of survival in her emotional book, “Surviving Myself,” joining TODAY’s Jenna Bush Hager and Dylan Dreyer to talk about her journey to relearn basic activities in life. Pestonji also talks about the importance of reducing stress and prioritizing mental health.
