Winter weather delays shipments of 6 million COVID-19 vaccine doses


Severe winter weather has triggered a backlog of some 6 million doses of coronavirus vaccines. Even though COVID-19 infections are dropping in all 50 states, experts are concerned that emerging variants detected in at least 42 states could cause another deadly surge.
