Wilmington streets ‘impassable’ due to fallen trees, mayor says
Mayor Bill Saffo of Wilmington, North Carolina, joins TODAY to give an update on the conditions of the city, where Florence, now a tropical storm, first made landfall as a hurricane on Friday. Saffo warns there are a high numbers of fallen trees in the way of rescue crews. “Almost every street in the city is impassable,” he says.
