Whole Foods under investigation for overcharging


The Department of Consumer Affairs in New York City is investigating the popular grocery store chain for “systemic overcharging for pre-packaged foods.” Investigators say Whole Foods routinely overstated the weights of prepackaged foods at eight stores, but the retailer is defending itself vigorously.
