Waco survivor opens up about David Koresh and compound
Joann Vaega was 6 years old when she survived the 1993 siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, an event that claimed the lives of dozens. Her parents, who died in the fire that engulfed the ranch, were Branch Davidians, the religious sect led by David Koresh. Vaega sits down on TODAY to share her story.
