Vice President Kamala Harris talks about schools reopening, vaccine distribution, more

12:03

In her first network one-on-one interview since taking office, Vice President Kamala Harris speaks exclusively with Savannah Guthrie live on TODAY. She talks about vaccine distribution, saying “as quickly as we’re producing it, we’re getting it out.” She says “we all want the schools to reopen” and that teachers should be a priority for vaccination. She defends the scale of President Biden’s proposed COVID-19 relief package, comparing the pandemic to a hurricane that “is still raging; we still have people dying on a daily basis.”
