Vaccination rate is ‘going to be a slower trickle’ amid hesitancy, doctor says


Dr. Richard Besser, former acting director of the CDC, tells TODAY that the rate of COVID-19 vaccinations is now “going to be a slower trickle, and we have to do everything we can to understand why different groups are hesitant.” He says that the numbers of people not returning for second vaccine doses points to the importance of Johnson & Johnson’s one-shot vaccine.
