US imposes new sanctions on Russia over nerve agent attack in UK
The Trump administrations is imposing new sanctions on Russia, retaliating for its role in the poisoning of a former spy and his daughter in Britain last March with a a deadly nerve agent. The new sanctions are likely to cut off hundreds of millions of dollars in exports of sensitive national security equipment to Russia, according to a senior State Department official.
