With gas prices still above $4 per gallon for much of the country, the Biden administration is greenlighting onshore oil drilling on federal land, a move that would free up more than 144,000 acres of land to lease sales across nine different states. It’s the latest effort by the government to curb the price of oil after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. NBC’s Sam Brock reports for TODAY.
