US calls for release of student in North Korea: A look at how he got there


The White House is demanding that North Korea pardon American student Otto Warmbier, who has been sentenced to 15 years hard labor after stealing a propaganda banner from his hotel. Warmbier has appeared in North Korean courts, begging for his freedom. NBC’s Keir Simmons reports for TODAY about the judgment and how Warmbier came to be in North Korea in the first place.
