Turkish president purges military after failed coup

Turkey is demanding that the U.S. extradite an exiled religious leader accused by Turkey of orchestrating a failed coup attempt this weekend. The U.S. says it needs proof. More than 200 people were killed during the attempted power grab Friday by members of the military. Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has responded with a purge of the country's security forces. Thousands of suspected coup supporters have been detained, including 100 generals and admirals.
