Tsunami warnings canceled after earthquake strikes near Alaska
A tsunami warning early Tuesday following a magnitude 7.9 earthquake that struck off Alaska has been canceled. The tremor struck about 175 miles southeast of Kodiak and was felt well over 100 miles away, prompting officials to issue a tsunami watch for California, Oregon, parts of Washington state and the Hawaiian islands early Tuesday. TODAY’s Al Roker reports.
